Dog Breed: Beagle / Chihuahua / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 550. Goldman is a happy-go-lucky pup with a heart as big as his energy. He was found at a local park with no chip and no signs of anyone looking for him, but despite being bounced from the street to a foster home in just under two weeks, he’s stayed upbeat, social, and eager to please. He’s young, playful, and full of curiosity—definitely the kind of dog who will thrive with structure, routine, and a family that can match his energy. He does well on a leash, enjoys car rides (though he’s a bit rambunctious), and loves playing with both people and other dogs. A dog sibling would be a big bonus for him, and a yard would be great too—as long as it’s secure. He’s an explorer and will look for gaps if given the chance. Goldman is still learning the ropes. He’ll whine a little when left alone and needs some encouragement to go into his crate. He’ll chew anything left in there with him, and he’s marked a bit, though that seems to be improving. He hasn’t been tested with kids, but he’s gentle when he plays—even when he’s pretending to be tough, he just ends up nibbling softly to show he’s having fun. At his core, Goldman is a sweet, affectionate pup who wants to be part of the action. With some consistent training and an active household, he’s going to grow into a fantastic companion. Goldman is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 8/22/2025 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon . Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
