This 9-month-old wheaten terrier mix is equal parts snuggly companion and enthusiastic playmate. He’s completed puppy elementary and middle school and already knows his basic commands — sit, lie down, settle, and stay — especially when there’s a treat or belly rub involved. Obi loves to play, run, and explore. He’s fast, agile, and would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can let loose and get his zoomies out safely. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would do best with a playful canine sibling who can match his energy and gently show him the ropes. While he’s incredibly affectionate, Obi is still learning how to modulate his strength and excitement, so a home without small children or elderly pets would be the best fit. He’s a great learner and eager to please — and with continued training, he'll grow into an even more amazing dog. Obi is also quite the alert watchdog; he’ll let you know when someone’s at the door, which means he may not be ideal for apartment living or homes with frequent deliveries unless you’re comfortable managing that behavior.
