Dog Breed: Rat Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Jak is a playful boy who is looking for a new home. Jak is currently with one of our sister rescues in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved adopters. Jack was surrendered with her sister Jill from a "breeder". They are both very socialized but some things are still new. Jak is the submissive one. He's caring and loving and listens well. He's playful and does great with other dogs. Jack is crate trained and is working on his house breaking and leash training skills. Jak is fixed, microchipped and she is up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $550. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
