Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees / Eurasier / Mixed. Meet Nancy, a sweet and gentle soul with a shy and mellow nature. Having been a stray, Nancy is ready to know the value of a warm and loving home that she can call her own. She arrived at our shelter pregnant and gave birth shortly after being with us. She has shown immense resilience in how she allowed herself to trust the staff and being the best mom to her babies! Nancy is now ready to find her forever home where she can slowly adapt and truly flourish. She doesn't show it when first meeting her, but she truly loves affection and attention. We have been giving her time to decompress after her hard life and with everything she has gone through since being with us and are unsure of how she is with other dogs. We will be working on getting to know her with dogs and will require a dog test with any dogs in the home. She has met kids and absolutely loved their presence so we feel a family with kids will be a good fit for her. She will thrive best in a patient and caring family that understands her need for time to get comfortable.
