I like to hang back at first, watch, sniff the air, and figure out if you’re safe. It’s not that I don’t like you; I just need a little time to feel comfortable. Once I do, though? You’ll see a whole new side of me. I really, really like treats. They’re the key to my heart. If you’ve got something tasty in your hand and a kind voice, I’ll start to think you’re pretty great. I already know “sit,” so if you ask me nicely and offer a little snack, I’ll show off my skills. And once we’re friends, I’m all about adventures. Walks, hikes, new smells, car rides if it means exploring with someone I trust, I’m in. There’s nothing like fresh air and new sights with my favorite human by my side. So yeah, I’m Elvira.
