Dog Breed: Chihuahua. If you like your companions with a dash of spice and a whole lot of love, Rocky is your guy! This 1.5 yr old, 4 pound “mild spicy taco” Chihuahua is equal parts playful energy and snuggly sweetness. Rocky is crate trained and adores his crate, especially when it’s cozy and comfy. He’s never had an accident in his crate, though housebreaking is still a work in progress. He’s brand new to leash walking and had no idea what to do at first, but the good news is he doesn’t pull or react, so with some patient guidance he’ll catch on quickly. Rocky is more energetic than his sister Sunshine, but he’s just as loving. He’s a toy enthusiast, happily playing tug, chasing balls, and proudly carrying around his beloved stuffed squirrel (which he also snuggles with every night). When playtime is over, he’s perfectly content curled up in your lap, tucked into your hoodie, or snuggling close. This feisty little guy will bark to say hello when guests arrive, alert you when a package shows up, or request some cuddle time. He’s a foodie like his sister & apples, sweet potatoes, yogurt, and chicken jerky are all favorites! Treat motivation always makes training easier. Rocky loves people and other dogs, and while he tries to be the “big dog” during dog playtime, it’s all in good fun with no aggression. If you’re looking for two adorable companions, Rocky and Sunshine would be over the moon to find a forever home together, but they’re also happy to be adopted separately if that’s the right fit.
