Dog Breed: Pointer / Hound / Mixed (short coat). Hans is a 3 year old 45 pound pit-pointer-hound mix with an eager to please and sweet disposition. He is quite the lover and soaks up the attention the volunteers shower him with. He loves to play, but stops in his tracks if someone wants to pet or cuddle him. Hans is a good boy who seems somewhat dog-selective. Come meet Hans and see if this cuddle bug is the one for you. Hans will be neutered prior to adoption. Hans is currently at the Shelter. Here is the adoption process: To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $60 fee for any animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier. Thank you for considering a homeless animal.
