Description
Dog Breed: Dachshund (short coat). Cookie is a gorgeous chocolate short hair purebred Dachshund. She came to us from a hoarding situation. She is having a dental, and will be spayed on September 8. Cookie is 3 years old, about 16 pounds. She did have two puppies, which have been adopted. A home with a yard is the best fit. She does bark at times so not good for apartments or condos. Older children 5 and up will be okay. Still working on potty training, but will use pee pads at times. Cookie is cautious when meeting new people, so a patient family is what she needs.
