Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Our adoption fee is $425 for all breeds and all ages. This fee helps to defray the costs for general vet costs, training, supplies and transportation. We are foster based and our organization is national, we have dogs in foster all over the country. Please inquire if you do not see information about a specific dogs location in the description. Daper Drako is in the house!!! By house I mean boarding facility. So of course, I am looking for my very own foster or adopter. I am looking forward to my happily ever after! I am a sweet guy! I happen to love playing. I love playing with my frens at the boarding facility and I love humans. I unfortunately haven't been around those frens you call cats. I'm an adolescent pup who is just looking for love. I would enjoy an active family that just makes me a part of their whole lives. I would enjoy going on those walks with you so I can see the world like its the first time I am seeing it. I am told, I am a love bug. I think my perfect family would be one who loves me, maybe we can bond together and do one of those activities like basic training (I hear its a super awesome bonding experience) and me being a Staffie will be the star of the class. I also would love one that walks me and enjoys exercise like I do. Anyway, I am just so excited becuase I know my perfect match is out there. Wouldn't it be cool if you adopted me today and we could have all summer to spend together, just loving each other and hanging out? Please apply for me today. Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
