Astrid recently found herself in need of a new home after her previous owner's declining health made it impossible for them to continue caring for her. She's a smart cookie who's eager to learn and ready to continue her education. She will need a patient and dedicated family to help her strengthen her obedience skills, house training, and manners. Astrid did previously live with another dog so she may enjoy the companionship of another alike-minded canine. An introduction to ensure compatibility would need to take place before going to her new home. Her compatibility with cats is unknown at this time. Astrid is a high-energy dog who would thrive in an active household. She's looking for a family that can match her zest for life, providing her with plenty of opportunities to exercise her body and mind.
