Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Chihuahua (short coat). #A5715291 Meet Solo! Han’s other half!! We don’t know much about Solo right now. The chaotic environment at Baldwin Park is overwhelming sweet Solo. What we know is, he is sweet yet very guarded here. We are confident his true spirit will start to shine once he feels comfortable in his furever home. The good thing about dogs who are overwhelmed in chaotic environments, is it’s usually a sign of a sensitive dog who is very keen on detail. Come take a chance and meet Solo today! Share him with Han if you can!! ♥️ -Solo is a neutered male Terrier/Chihuahua mix -Solo is estimated 19 months and 18 pounds - Came with his brother Han!! #A5715286 -Sweet temperament, guarded here at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center -Unknown if he is potty trained or has had command training -Arrived at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 07-22-25 SOLO’S VIDEO: youtube/shorts/2OZ7oBrPyGo For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaaunitedhopeforanimals ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
