Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Don't forget!! We are currently open by appointment only. This is to control the traffic in the building at one time. If you would like to look at the cats/dogs for adoption, or if you need to relinquish or to do any other business, please message our FB page or call us at 304-267-8389 to schedule an appointment. If you see a specific pet for adoption on our FB page we can always set up a specific meet and greet for that as well. Thank you Jessica for taking Iggy out for "Doggy Day Out" Here is what Jessica said about Iggy while she was out: "Iggy was such a sweetheart! She loved getting to sniff around outside and wanted to greet every person she met. Iggy is also the most gentle treat taker, She will gingerly lick a treat from the palm of your hand! Iggy would be a great addition, especially if you want a dog that is gentle with young children!" Adoption fee... $175, cash or credit card, includes spay/neuter, microchip and first shots. If you already have a dog, bring them in with you for a 'meet and greet'. Mon.-Sat. 10-4 We understand not everyone can adopt a pet. Some homes are full, some homes do not allow certain pets and some have lifestyles that can't handle a pet right now. You can still help. Sharing pictures on FB, volunteering, or just coming in and sponsoring part of the adoption fee for when the pet is adopted. This helps a lot. No amount is too small to donate towards the adoption fee. If you would like to help sponsor, speak to one of the staff. Especially the cats and kittens need help (since we usually have so many!)
