Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Wilma is a very pretty lady who is looking for a new home. Wilma is with our rescue partner in North Carolina. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters. Wilma was found as a stray and no one came to claim her. She gave birth to a litter of puppies in June. She was a great mom but the pups are all weaned now and it's Wilma's turn to get some TLC. She is getting some much needed groceries. Wilma is described as very friendly and happy. Wilma is fixed, up to date on vaccines. Her heartworm test is pending. If we are able to save her, her adoption fee will be $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
