Dog Breed: Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Nikolai! Nikolai is a Shepherd/Husky mix with a gentle heart and a shy soul. Born in rescue, he started out nervous with people, but thanks to patient care and training, he’s blossoming into a loving, loyal companion. While he may still be a little hesitant at first, once he warms up, Nikolai loves nothing more than to snuggle close. He is crate trained, house trained, and knows his basics—sit, lay down, and stay. One thing Nikolai absolutely needs is another confident dog in the home to help him feel safe and continue building his confidence. With the right furry friend and a patient family, he’ll thrive. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart pup who just needs a little time and love to fully shine, Nikolai is ready to steal your heart. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
