Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $350.00. Meet Ned Ledoux! Birthday: November 9, 2024 Hi, I’m Ned Ledoux! I may still be a puppy, but I’ve got just enough wisdom to know that what I really want… is you! I’m a sweet, fun-loving little guy who’s all about cuddles, companionship, and playtime. I currently live with a cat; I do not like it. I like to chase it and see it run so I can chase it. A home without a cat would be best. I currently weigh just 7 pounds and may grow to be 8–10 pounds—perfect for laps, road trips, and cozy nights in. I’ve also had a DNA test done, and guess what? I’m a delightful blend of: 47% Dachshund 15% Pug 11% Chihuahua 9% Pembroke Welsh Corgi 5% Yorkshire Terrier ❤️ And 100% Great Dog! If you're looking for a loyal buddy with a big personality in a little package, I might just be the one for you. Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
