Dog Breed: Unknown breed (short coat). Don’t let Dasher's age fool you—this handsome guy still has plenty of pep in his step and a big personality to match. In his foster home, he has shown just how smart and eager to please he is. He’s learned to wait politely outside rooms he’s not supposed to enter, resists the temptation of food (even when it’s sitting right on the coffee table!), and happily curls up in his favorite nap spot when it’s time to relax. He’s also a total foodie—treats, peanut butter, or any tasty snack are the key to his heart. His love for food makes training easy and fun, whether it’s getting his harness on, taking a bath, or learning new tricks. Dasher is looking to be the one and only pet in his future home so he can soak up all your love and attention. He’d thrive in a quieter neighborhood where he can enjoy walks without too much hustle and bustle while continuing to practice his leash manners. He’s a sweet, loyal, and very smart little man… maybe a bit too smart for his own good. He’s got a lot going on in that busy lil’ noggin and isn’t shy about letting you know when life isn’t moving fast enough for his liking. The PAWS Adoption Center in Old City at 2nd and Arch Streets is open to walk-ins or by appointment Monday-Friday from 12 pm to 6 pm, Saturday 11 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.
