Dog Breed: Unknown breed (short coat). Dasher doesn’t look or act his age one bit—this guy has plenty of pep in his step and is eager to learn. In his foster home, he’s made huge strides in his manners: he waits patiently outside rooms he’s not allowed in, doesn’t steal food (even when it’s right there on the coffee table), and settles right down on his nap spot when his time in the limelight is over. He’s also incredibly food-motivated, which makes training a breeze—whether it’s putting on his harness, hopping into the bath, or learning something new, a treat or dab of peanut butter is all the encouragement he needs. Dasher wants to be the top dog in your life and your home, so he’s looking for a pet-free household. He’d do best in a lower-traffic, quieter neighborhood where he can feel relaxed and confident, and he’s still working on perfecting his leash manners. In return, he’ll shower you with love, stay close, and brighten every day with his mix of smarts, sass, and sweetness. He’s a sweet, loyal, and very smart little man… maybe a bit too smart for his own good. He’s got a lot going on in that busy lil’ noggin and isn’t shy about letting you know when life isn’t moving fast enough for his liking.
