Dog Breed: Plott Hound / Mixed (medium coat). Kira came to the shelter as an injured stray, limping on one of her legs. With a little TLC and time to heal, sheâs made a full recovery - and now sheâs walking, running, and ready to find her forever family! From the moment you meet her, Kiraâs gentle spirit shines through. She greets you by calmly sitting at her kennel door, making it easy to leash her up. Out on walks, sheâs a dream: no pulling on the leash, just happy to stroll by your side. She has a low to medium energy level so she's mostly calm and easygoing but lights up when squeaky toys are involved! Sheâll happily entertain herself with them, but sheâs polite about letting you take them back when playtime is over. Kira enjoys attention, loves being pet, and takes treats gently from your hand. She already knows how to sit on command too!
