Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Meet Max! Since getting into a foster home, he’s been slowly coming out of his shell and showing his true personality! It past is becoming a distant memory… Max is still a bit shy with new people and loud sounds, but he’s adjusting more every day. He loves going for walks and exploring all the sights, smells, and sounds of the neighborhood. Zoomies? Oh yes—he’s a proud member of the zoomies club! That said, Max’s favorite thing in the world is… laps. He would absolutely love a forever family with a lap or two he can curl up on! Currently about 22 lbs Doing great with potty training Sleeps through the night Very smart and eager to learn! He’ll do amazing with positive reinforcement training. Max is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly and is ready to find a family who’ll give him the love (and couch space) he deserves! We do not have a facility for you to visit. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
