PRADA (NOT YET AVAILABLE) - DACHSHUND / CHIHUAHUA / MIXED (SHORT COAT) DOG FOR ADOPTION

Dog Breed: Dachshund / Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Please read the pet description IN IT'S ENTIRETY before applying. Thank you for your cooperation. NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 8/12/2025: Prada - female - DOB 9/8/2014 - 8.12 pounds - Dachshund/Chihuahua mix Reason for intake: Prada is an owner-surrender. She has become snippy with the baby. Sometimes old dogs or dogs in general, just don't do well with small children and that's why we just don't adopt to homes with babies or small children under about the age of 7. We don't want a child to get injured and we certainly don't want one of our dogs labeled or end up at animal control for quarantine, etc. Anyway, the owner did the RIGHT THING so no negative comments, please. She appears to have something going on with her eyes (thus the head-tilt) and it seems painful. She did not want us around her eyes. We will have our vet check that out. We will also have the vet remove and send off the two mammary tumors we felt upon intake and spay her, etc. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
