Sassy is a 1-year-old white Labrador retriever with dazzling blue eyes, an endless supply of zoomies, and ears that clearly didn’t read the instruction manual. Seriously—one’s up, one’s down, one’s doing its own thing entirely. She’s basically 50% dog, 50% cartoon character, and 100% lovable. When Sassy first arrived at the shelter, she was scared and unsure. She kept to herself, watching the world from a distance. But with gentle patience, kind voices, and maybe a few too many treats (no regrets), she slowly began to bloom. Now? She’s all tail wags, wet kisses, and “did someone say pool?” energy. Speaking of pools—Sassy is an unapologetic splash queen. She doesn’t swim so much as flop and lounge like a diva at a spa. After a good romp around the yard, you’ll usually find her halfway submerged, grinning like she owns the place. (She kind of does.) Sassy is looking for a home with a big heart, a bit of patience, and maybe a doggie pool or two. She’s silly, sensitive, and still figuring out that the world isn’t so scary after all—especially when you're surrounded by love. Come meet Sassy. Warning: you will fall in love. Our adoption fee's include: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, including Rabies, de-worming, 1 dose of flea/tick preventative (for dogs) or flea preventative (for cats,) heartworm or FeLV/FIV Testing and Heartworm Preventative for the first month. Adoption fees vary, please contact us for more information. Please note that heartworm testing is administered to dogs 7 months of age or older. Booster vaccinations or any follow-up veterinary care post-adoption is not included with the pet's adoption fee. The fees for adopting an animal, which include: the spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, general de-wormer and a combination vaccine range from as little as $75.00 up to $125.00. If the animal is over 6 months of age, we also include a Heartworm test for dogs. The shelter is located at 25700 Interstate 30 N near exit #126. From Bryant, get on I-30 East, headed toward Little Rock. Take exit #126 and cross over the interstate. Follow the access road west and we are approximately 3/4 of a mile from the overpass on the access road. From Little Rock - take I-30 west toward Texarkana.
