Dog Breed: Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Meet Bella – Your Loyal Little Shadow Bella is a 2½-year-old purebred short-haired Jack Russell Terrier with a heart as big as her energy! She loves going for walks, playing fetch, and keeping herself busy with her favorite toys. She’s fully potty trained, walks great on a leash, and has wonderful house manners. Bella is a true “Velcro dog” — she wants to be right by your side, whether you’re on the move or relaxing. She thrives on love, attention, and being part of her person’s daily life. She can be a tiny bit vocal and tends to bark when she’s unsure, especially with new people. She may also feel nervous at first, but once she knows she’s safe, her sweet and affectionate personality shines through — and she becomes absolutely amazing and affectionate. Bella gets along well with other dogs, but she likely would not do well in a home with cats or small animals. She came to us after her previous home could no longer keep her because she wasn’t a good fit for a household with chickens. She has the terrier prey drive, which is typical of this breed.
