Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Dachshund / Mixed. From her foster: She's very affectionate; her favorite thing is sitting on the couch cuddled up next to you; but she's got good energy when she goes for walks. She can be fearful of other dogs and people on walks though as she is learning about the world. Yet despite it all, she walks pretty well on leash. She is crate-trained; she sleeps in the crate overnight and when we leave the house. She's quiet around the house but can be a little terroritial with 'her' people. When she got here, she had some accidents but she has not gone in the house since then. I do take her out regularly to prevent that. I'd say she's gotten to be pretty well house-trained. In my opinion an ideal home for her would be quiet and calm. Older kids maybe, ideally one person or two who can work with her on the protective stuff. I should mention she follows me around the house at all times except when she's snoozing. She's a very sweet girl!
