Description
Dog Breed: Poodle (unknown type) / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $350.00. Howdy I’m Rotini, and I am ready to find a family for my own! I am a 5 month old Poodle mix weighing about 35lbs. I have started crate training and do pretty well and have started likening it more. I love relaxing with humans, but my most favorite thing is playing around with my friends. I am a very goofy boy who is learning how to adjust to new surroundings and new things. I will need a family who is patient with me and is excited to start training! I am very treat motivated, but I tend to forget what we are doing and lose interest. My foster mom has started teaching me boundaries and how to be the best boy possible! I am good with all adults and I have been around kids, but I am very wiggly and might knock over small kids. So older kids or kids that are comfortable with dogs would be best for me! I am still a very young puppy who would love to start adventures and just have fun! If I sound like a good fit for your home and you are looking for a fun, energetic puppy! Please apply for me today at bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
