Dog Breed: Poodle (unknown type) / Chihuahua / Mixed. Oklahoma was not ok for Lilly and several others pups who were taken from what may have been a backyard breeding program. Now she is in Connecticut to find a safe haven in a loving forever home and family. Lilly is a petite gal at 9 pounds and is a poodle/chihuahua mix. She has lovely golden locks of fuzzy fur and a cute black button nose. Dogs and children are welcome companions. It is not known if Lilly enjoys the company of cats. Lilly is working on her house and leash training. Rescue dogs should be expected to have accidents as they become accustomed to a new home, family and routines. If crate training is anticipated, Lilly requires a crate that lets her lie down, stand up and turn around. Crates should never be used for punishment, should be warm and cozy dens and Lilly should be able to go in and out as she desires during training. If you have room in your heart and home for a little lady who will always be a petite girl with big brown eyes, Lilly is a perfect fit. * Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Lilly is $500.
