He’s a mix of miniature Australian Shepherd and possibly Chihuahua, and he’s been through more than any dog ever should. Brownie came from a house overrun with rats, then found himself in the shelter — scared, confused, and without hope. But today, thanks to an incredible foster, Brownie is safe, loved, and finally learning what it means to be part of a family. He absolutely adores attention and loves nothing more than snuggling up next to you at night. He’s wonderful with cats and small dogs. He’s affectionate, loyal, and so grateful for kindness. Brownie still has some medical care ahead of him — he will be getting a dental and two mass removals later this month or early September. While he recovers, we are now accepting pre-adoption applications to find his perfect match.
