Dog Breed: Boxer / Husky / Mixed. Meet Blueberry – A Brave Little Survivor Blueberry is a 5-month-old Boxer–Husky mix with the sweetest soul. She’s already survived so much in her short life. A homeless man found her after she’d been hit by a car, and thanks to his compassion, she was rushed to the ER vet. There, she underwent orthopedic surgery on her right hind leg, received her vaccines, and was spayed. Now, Blueberry is safe and ready to begin the next chapter of her life. She is extremely sweet, though a bit shy at first. She will need a patient family willing to give her time, gentle encouragement, and lots of love to build her confidence. She absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine friend to help show her the ropes. Blueberry has already proven she’s a fighter. With love, patience, and continued socialization, she will blossom into the most loyal and affectionate companion.
