Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat). Brownie is a high-energy, super affectionate dog. He tends to relax when he's given attention, but can be jumpy and mouthy in an attempt to ask for more. Overall he's a young dog that would benefit greatly from positive reinforcement classes to learn his basic foundations, and he would love nothing more than to work on those skills alongside his new family. OTHER PETS: Brownie got along well with other dogs, but he can be a bit pushy with his play style. He prefers to be rough & rowdy with other dogs, and may try to hump when he gets overexcited. His best match would likely be another playful dog that will tolerate his puppy antics! (Must Meet First)] OWNER EXPERIENCE: Brownie can be jumpy and mouthy when he's excited. He would likely match best with someone that has positive reinforcement training experience, especially for higher energy dogs, and knows how to interact with them to provide good experiences. [Some Experience] KIDS: Brownie can be mouthy when he tries to initiate play, and can be possessive over toys and food. If living with another dog, food and toys should be given separately to help both dogs feel secure and avoid conflict. He would do best around people that can understand how to interact with him and when to let him have his own space. In a home environment, he would do best with both routine daily walks and various forms of mental enrichment to keep his mind and body busy. Once his needs are met at the end of the day, he'd be happy to curl up and spend some time on the couch with his people!
