Dog Breed: Chihuahua. Sicily is a petite pup with a big personality! At just 4 years old, this high-energy Chihuahua is starving for love and makes up for lost time by giving tons of kisses. Once she trusts you, she’s all about cuddles, zoomies, and soaking up the sun. 98% potty trained Crate trained (sleeps in one at night and when home alone) Loves toys, treats, and especially bones! Sicily enjoys the company of other dogs with similar energy levels and thrives in an active, engaged environment. She’s not a fan of cats (she’ll chase them!) and prefers to have her food and toys to herself, so all foster dogs are fed separately in crates. Sicily came from a tough situation where she was abandoned with four other dogs. She can be fearful at first and may nip when overwhelmed, so slow introductions are a must. She’s not suited for homes with small children, but she’s been making great progress with trust and boundaries. Once she feels safe, Sicily is a happy, sweet little girl who just wants to be loved. With a patient and understanding adopter, this charming Chihuahua will blossom into the loyal companion she was always meant to be. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered.
