What started as a swallowed sock turned into a shocking diagnosis — a rare, life-threatening condition called PPDH, where his organs are crowding the sac around his heart. Rally is headed to Madison for emergency surgery to remove the sock and repair his PPDH. This is his one shot at growing up happy, healthy, and full of zoomies. ❤️ He’s lucky to have a wonderful foster family that was ready to drive him to Madison the second we got the call (and of course welcome him back home the second he’s cleared to leave the hospital.) And we can’t forget his dad — who made the heartbreaking, selfless decision to surrender Rally, knowing he couldn’t give him the lifesaving care he needed.
