Dog Breed: Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat). Hi! My name is Florence! I’m a southern belle from Arkansas. I was a wonderful mother to my 11 puppies, and now it's my time to live my life and find my people! I’m the perfect balance of a dog. I’m polite and respectful of other dogs (even shy ones). I can play with them if they are into it, or be just fine on my own, chasing a ball or lying in the sun. Meeting new people is fun, and I love to wag my stubby tail in excitement! I’m amazing with cats and don’t mind them at all. I enjoy prancing in the backyard like a deer. I like to be petted and lift my front legs high to play. I’m super gentle with my mouth and take treats gently. My foster parents say I have the sweetest, most considerate personality. My energy level is pretty chill to medium. I’m up for snuggling, going for a walk, or sniffing out some critters outside. I may try to sneak under the fence the try to chase a rabbit or squirrel. The kennel isn’t my favorite place, but my foster mom has left me out in my own room, and I do great being left alone. I’ve never chewed on anything that wasn't mine, and I have a perfect track record of going potty outside. I even learned really quickly from the other dog in the house to paw at the patio door when I need to go potty. I'm smart! If you’re looking for for lifelong partner with an old soul and lots of love to give, I’m your girl! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
