While we don’t know much about his past, Lucas is all about the future—and he’s ready to find his forever home. He’s incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle up with his people. Lucas is also dog-friendly and enjoys spending time with other pups. Here’s a video of Lucas playing. And another one of him playing with his foster sibling. So sweet!! Lucas is a loyal, affectionate dog who meets new people best outside and usually takes about 5–10 minutes to warm up. He can be territorial in the home, so slower introductions help him feel safe and build trust. He walks nicely on a leash and knows his basic commands. This smart boy is eager to please and catches on quickly with gentle guidance. Lucas has a calm, easygoing nature and would do well in a variety of home environments. Whether you’re heading out for a hike or settling in on the couch, Lucas will be right by your side. Whatever you're doing, he just wants to be part of it. Here is a video of him being very calm with a cat next to him! He’s happiest when he’s close to you, whether you're out for a walk or relaxing at home.
