Dog Breed: Pomeranian / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Goldie and Kisses! This sweet bonded pair of girls lost their owner recently and they are a little confused about that. They are safe in one of our foster homes and settling in well. We would love to find these two a home together as they love each other a lot. Goldie (the Merle color) is about the sweetest thing ever. She is an older dog, around 9.5 years old and is overweight. She takes medication for a heart murmur. She is shy at first, takes a minute, and doesn't love being pet on the head. But once she trusts you, she wants to be near you always, very gentle. Not a lap dog (maybe when she loses weight?) but wants to be close. She doesn't seem to care much about other dogs as long as they leave her alone. And she knows how to shake! She likes to walk around the back yard. She walks and walks and recently started running a little. She needs to continue her weight loss journey for a little longer. Kisses is a little more "extra." She is around 5 years old. She's very exuberant, will launch herself into a lap at any opportunity and lick your face for a long, long time. Kisses loves kisses! She is very affectionate but doesn't love sharing the attention with other pups, other than Goldie. She's also a "runner" and she's very fast, so even when she is in an enclosed backyard she's always dragging a leash just in case. She appears very active but tires easily and wants a lap to sit in. Goldie and Kisses have received vaccinations, microchips and will be spayed. Their combined adoption fee is $500 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.
