Dog Breed: Beagle. Adoption Fee: $300.00. Say hello to Scout! This cutie patootie appears to be 100% beagle with his straight up tail and wispy black and white coat. He's got gorgeous ticking on his legs and a musical Beagle bray/bark when he's excited. We rescued Scout from a rural shelter in Northeast Ohio. He may have been a star hunting dog but we have no backstory as he was a stray. So far we can share that. Doing well with house training and leash training. His foster mom uses a belly band in the house just to make sure he doesn't mark his new territory. Scout has been settling well in his crate for breaks throughout the day and overnight. He enjoys toys and the playtime with other dogs. He can be a bit timid in new situations but quickly gets accustomed once he's checked out the new sights and sounds. He does love to run around so we'd love to see him have a fenced yard - or at least three good long walks a day - and so far he appears to do fine with other dogs as long as they give good cues and are friendly. Scout Is neutered, heartworm negative and ready to go on sleepover.
