Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Pomeranian / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 550. WoJo is a sweet, even-tempered dog who brings a quiet joy to those lucky enough to know him. He loves toys, enjoys a good game of fetch, and is great in the car – always ready for the next adventure! He's also incredibly treat-motivated, which makes training (and bonding) a breeze. Though soft-spoken, WoJo has a gentle, playful nature that shines brightest when he's around other dogs. He takes comfort and confidence from canine companions, making him a loyal follower and playful sidekick to any friendly pup. Once you've earned WoJo's trust, you'll feel like you’ve unlocked something truly special – a connection that’s deep, genuine, and incredibly rewarding. WoJo is still learning that the world is a safe place. He’s timid at first, especially in new situations or around new people. But he's warming up more every day, especially to the male in his foster home (who might have something to do with being the main treat-giver!). His perfect home? One with a confident, friendly dog to show him the ropes (or better yet, consider adopting his best buddy Fenrys too!). A calm environment with patient people who understand that trust takes time – and that shy dogs often love the deepest. Wojo is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 09/06/2025 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 4:30 and 8pm. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
