Dog Breed: Poodle (Miniature) / Maltese / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 550. Agnes is a 5-year-old poodle/maltese mix with the gentlest little soul. She’s a true lap pup who wants nothing more than to be near her person, soaking up love and offering her quiet affection in return. Agnes came into rescue after her previous person passed away, and now she’s searching for a new family to cherish her. Agnes is a sweetheart who constantly wags her tail and lights up whenever her human is near. When you walk up to her, she’ll lay down and wag happily—it’s her way of saying she’s excited but still a little shy. She can be timid and lacks confidence, so she’ll need a patient home that understands she may need time to fully come out of her shell. Because of her shyness, she sometimes tinkles when she’s nervous, but with love, reassurance, and a steady routine, she’ll continue to grow more confident. Agnes is mostly potty trained and does best with consistency. She would do best having a calm, confident dog friend in the home to show her the ropes. If you’re looking for a tenderhearted companion who just needs a safe place to blossom, Agnes could be your girl. With time and love, she will reward you with endless loyalty, tail wags, and quiet devotion. Agnes is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 09/06/2025 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 4:30 and 8pm. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
