Dog Breed: Shih Tzu (long coat). MEET RIDGE - A PERFECT LITTLE COMPANION! (located in Mt. Dora, FL) This little guy has just come into our care - an owner surrender. He's cute as a button, and one of the best behaved dogs I have EVER fostered; doesn't bark, doesn't beg, can dance on his hind legs for treats - loves EVERYONE, gives nibble kisses, loves to play, loves other dogs (big & small), loves cats AND kids, comes when he is called AND loves being on your lap! He is about 14 months old - and full grown at 6 lbs. - The breeder's papers say he is a Blue Shih Tzu. He is up to date on all vaccines, chipped and was recently neutered! He has a grooming appointment on 9/11/25 and an assessment appointment with OUR Vet here in Central Florida later this week. Due to an old injury, he does have dry eye which requires drops daily. But he has a calm demeanor and lets you administer the drops with ease. We are advised he is not totally housebroken - but in a home with less activity and more one-on-one time, we are confident he can be trained. Dora, FL Adoption fee $400 Email for an application: jmilbyergmail NOTE: Adoption fees are applied towards the vet bill: exam, blood tests, vaccinations, fecal, worming, spay/neuter, and microchip. There is rarely anything left over, but if that happens, the monies get applied to the next or previous pet- who may have had to have an x-ray, be groomed or have a dental.
