Dog Breed: Shih Tzu (long coat). MEET RIDGE - New kid on the block! (located in Ocala, FL) This little guy is just now coming into our care - an owner surrender. He's cute as a button, up to date on all vaccines, chipped and is being neutered on 8/21/25. He does have allergies and an eye infection - which our Vet is in the process of treating --- He is about 14 months old - weighs 6.5 lbs. - The breeder's papers say he is a Blue Shih Tzu. Ridge gets along well with dogs, cats AND kids - and is currently living in a home with 3 children and a couple other dogs. He HATES his crate, but loves his playpen and is currently living in foster care in Ocala, FL. We are advised he is not totally housebroken - but in a home with less activity and more one-on-one time, we are confident he can be trained. He is currently living in Ocala, but as soon as we can arrange it, we are hoping to move him either to Mt. Dora or the Ft. Lauderdale area. There is rarely anything left over, but if that happens, the monies get applied to the next or previous pet- who may have had to have an x-ray, be groomed or have a dental.
