Dog Breed: Akita (medium coat). Nameâs Nyxie. Iâm an older girl now... gray in the muzzle, slower on my feet, but donât let that fool you. Iâve still got plenty of spark when it counts. Most days, youâll find me sprawled out in a warm patch of sunlight, soaking in the rays like itâs my full-time job. And honestly? It kind of is.Walks are still the highlight of my day. I might not charge ahead like I used to, but Iâve learned the joy of a slow stroll taking my time, sniffing every tree, bush, and invisible trail only I can smell. Thereâs a lot to see if you donât rush past it.Iâve earned my naps. Couch, dog bed, cool tile floor.. Iâm not picky. Let me curl up and dream of things I used to chase. Food? Yes. All of it. Mostly, I just like to chill. Be near my people. Listen to the breeze. Watch the world go by. I may be older, but life is still good. Simple, slow, and sweet.
