She was saved by a kind stranger after being attacked by a bigger dog and left injured on the streets. With a wound nearly half her size, it was uncertain if she would make it through surgery—but this tiny fighter pulled through with incredible strength. Now about 13 weeks old Potato is a female German Shepherd mix (best guess) with soulful eyes and an a strong spirit. She is a perfect angel in her crate, and sleeps through the night. Despite her tough start, she has the attitude of a survivor, adores her toys, and is beginning to learn basic commands. She’s thriving in a safe, loving environment and is blossoming into a playful, trusting pup. Potato has all the energy of a lively puppy and would love another dog to play with, or a dedicated dog parent who will stimulate her mind and help her with the exercise she needs.
