Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Terrier / Mixed. *Name: Raine *Age: 2 years old *Current Weight: approx. 50lbs *Rescued from: Georgia, fostered in NY *Adoption fee: $475 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) This is Raine. Raine’s story is one of strength, resilience, and deep, unwavering love. This sweet girl was found pregnant and alone in Georgia, starving and running out of time. Thankfully our local rescue partners were able to help her get to SNARR just in time and we were able to give her the second chance she so desperately needed. Raine boarded her “freedom flight” to New York, thin and tired but determined to protect the precious lives growing inside her. Despite everything she’d been through, Raine’s spirit never broke. She arrived painfully skinny, her body worn from survival—but her eyes told a story of quiet courage and unwavering love. In the safety of a loving foster home, she finally had the peace she needed to welcome her babies into the world. Raine gave birth to 12 puppies, and while heartbreakingly 4 didn’t make it, she has poured every ounce of herself into caring for the remaining 8. She's been a devoted, nurturing mom—always attentive, always loving, giving them everything that they needed to thrive (with the help of an AMAZING foster mom). Now that her pups are growing strong and getting ready for their own forever homes, it's finally time for Raine to find hers. This sweet, gentle girl deserves a family who will give her the same love and devotion she’s given her puppies. Raine is kind-hearted, affectionate, and just wants to be close to her people. After all she’s been through, she’s ready to start a new chapter—one filled with cuddles, stability, and joy. Will you be the happy ending Raine’s been waiting for? IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption.
