SNAZZY - GREAT DANE / MIXED (SHORT COAT) DOG FOR ADOPTION

Dog Breed: Great Dane / Mixed (short coat). Great puppy! MEET Snazzy! Great things happen when fosters are available and several wonderful ones were willing to step up for this smart young lady so she could become a Tara’s House puppy. Why? Because she’s just so darn sweet, adorable, fun, smart, playful, well-mannered and friendly. Snazzy is thought to be a Great Dane mix (possibly with lab) so although she is a large breed dog, she may not grow to the full scale of a Dane. So far at approximately 3 months old (estimated birth in early May) she is 37 lbs of healthy, roly-poly love. Snazzy was originally a stray and came to the shelter very scared. She quickly went to foster (her adorable puppy dog eyes couldn’t be resisted) and she spent the next month in loving homes where she learned how to be a dog. She has mastered the potty thing, she sleeps through the night in a crate (and asks to go in when she’s tired), she has gained confidence by following foster mom(s) and the resident dogs around and has learned basic commands in record time. She has also learned to walk calmly on a leash and doesn’t pull. Snazzy is a growing puppy and will need to have her lessons continued so she doesn’t take advantage of her height and counter surf. She loves to play with toys and she (mostly) knows which things are hers and which are the household’s (like the tv remote or your glasses). Snazzy takes “no” for an answer and learns quickly. She knows how to swim, run, play and fetch with the best of them. The only thing we know she doesn’t enjoy much is car rides, because it makes her tummy feel icky. (Dramamine helps!) Snazzy’s adoption donation fee is $400, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip.
