Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 400. Toffee came to us from a shelter in AL. He was taken there because his prior home was not nice to him. He arrived scared, hurt and not friendly. The shelter staff did an amazing job - and lots of animal crackers - to gain his trust and they got it! He is a small breed - only 8# and is full grown. He is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. He is housetrained and crate trained. He arrived in Wi and is in a foster home with lots of other dogs, cats, a child over age 12 and some ducks and chickens too! His ideal home is one with another dog - preferably a small to medium sized dog. A fenced yard is a plus. Kids over age 12 required. We are still testing him on his interaction with men as that was his abuser in the prior home, but so far, he is great with woman. He does need a few minutes to get to know a new person but then he is all hugs and kisses. He is located in a foster home in Sheboygan WI.
