Dog Breed: Unknown breed. IN VERMONT Meet Huskyanna aka H'Anna! youtu.be/sY4SOAtkJg4 H'Anna is 4 years old, female (approx. DOB 7-7-21), 42 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed and micro-chipped. Hi! I'm H'Anna, and I'm a sweet, super-loving dog with energy to spare! My best quality is how much I adore my people—I want to be around you all the time and will shower you with hugs. If you don't mind a dog who loves to be close, you're my ideal person! I am a certified medium-energy girl; I can run and play but I can also be chill. A yard would be great for me! I'd be a great running, walking, and or hiking buddy for an active family. I'm also potty-trained and excellent in my crate—I love my safe space when you're away but I’ve also been successful being left in my room with my comfy bed! I love to run errands in the car too! I can just chill while you are getting things done. Oh, and I love to take naps while my human is working. I know Sit, but my default setting is "hugging!" I'm a bit of a homebody and prefer a calm environment. I'm great with other dogs, but I consider squirrels my personal business, and I'm still figuring out how to be polite around cats. I'm looking for a patient, active family who doesn't mind all the love and snuggles I have to give! A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
