Dog Breed: Husky / Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat). Mikhail is a sweet, soft as a bunny young husky mix. He arrived to a Texas shelter on 7/24/25 covered in fleas and not wanting to put any weight on his hind limbs. Mikhail is in a foster home in NJ and had FHO surgery on his right hip on 9/15/25. He made it through his surgery and now begins the hard part of recovery... Physical Therapy. He likes it just about as much as anyone that had a joint surgery. He does the work but complains along the way. All he wants is to play, receive love and hugs not the stretching, slow potty walks and cone of silence. NorthStar expects Mikhail to have a full recovery once he completes his PT. Mikhail does well with all dogs, cats, and people. He walks well on a leash and is crated trained and almost house trained if kept on a schedule.
