Lucky is a handsome Labrador Retriever mix, estimated to be around 2–4 years old and weighing about 60 lbs. This boy truly lives up to his name. Lucky was placed on the shelter’s euthanasia list after being attacked by his kennel mate and denied the medical care he needed. Just when his time was running out, we stepped in and gave him a second chance at life. Despite what he’s been through, Lucky’s spirit shines bright. He’s a tall, lanky boy with a goofy charm—equal parts sweetheart and playful wild child. With some training and consistency, his manners will improve quickly. Lucky seems to do well with other dogs and, given his gentle nature, may even be a good fit for a home with older kids (as he can be bouncy and may accidentally knock little ones over).
