Dog Breed: Husky / Mixed (short coat). Meet 4 year old Honey... a girl who lives up to her name because she is truly sweet as can be! Honey is looking for a new family because her mom needed to go into a nursing home, so you know she was loved since she was born. She's extremely obedient and really wants to please her people. She's smart and treat motivated, which makes her easily trainable - she already know sit, lay down, off, leave it, come... and she's currently working on "spin!" She's fully house trained and tolerates her crate at night, but she really would prefer to sleep with you. During the day, her foster mom lets her stay out in the house and she's never destructive. She mostly hangs out in the window and watches the world go by... and she's such a good girl - she doesn't even bark at passers by! She LOVES to go for walks... and that's a good thing because her weight is in the 70s and we think she'd be healthier in the 50s. So if you've also got a few pounds you'd like to lose, we have a great walking partner for you! We think honey would be great in an apartment or in a house, with a fence or without. She lived with cats in her past life, but we haven't yet seen her with other dogs or kids, so we can't say about that. What kind of dog is she? We'd love to know!
