Dog Breed: Boxer. 8/23/2025 Lou II is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Lou! I am a handsome 6 year old flashy fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to my owner's health failing and no one is able to care for me. I am described as friendly, active, smart, playful, affectionate, and obedient! There are currently 3 female dogs in my current home and I get along great with them and even share dog beds! I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. There are no kids in my current home but I have had exposure to toddlers and family member children and am playful but gentle with them! I am good at alerting the humans when someone is walking past our yard by barking while wiggling my entire body! I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep on my dog bed. If the humans must be away and I am left alone, I do fine. I am scared of storms and fireworks and want to be right beside the humans or in their laps where I feel safe. I also do not like having my nails trimmed and must have the vet or groomer do it. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, anything that squeaks, playing tug of war, water, "talking" to the humans, and cuddling! I get excited when playing but then calms down quickly and enjoys laying around the house!
