Meet Nilla This sweet girl is Nilla — a gentle, affectionate Dachshund mix with a heart full of love. She’s the definition of a lapdog: loyal, calm, and happiest when snuggled up close to her person. After doing an amazing job raising her four precious puppies, Nilla is ready to find a home of her own — a peaceful place where she can finally be the one receiving the love she so freely gives. Nilla has a mellow, easygoing personality and prefers a quieter environment, so she’d do best in a home without small children. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive with a calm canine companion to play and relax with. And if you have cats? Even better — she adores them. At night, Nilla sleeps quietly in her crate, though she’d be overjoyed to share a warm bed with her forever family. She’s house trained when kept on a regular schedule but is still learning how to signal when it’s time to go out — a little patience and consistency will help her continue to succeed. Nilla is a soft-hearted soul ready to settle into a life of comfort, companionship, and gentle love. Could she be the missing piece in your home? All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
