DOB tbd), 50 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered and micro-chipped. Looking for an expressive and very vocal companion? Say hello to Singapore, a handsome male husky with a song in his heart and a voice he’s not afraid to use! Whether it's sunrise or just Tuesday afternoon - Singapore delights in singing the songs of his people for all to hear, because why not narrate life with flair? Like many huskies, Singapore is full of personality, opinions, and a dash of DRAM A One of his strongest opin-ions? The vet office is the worst. He’s not a fan of restraint and he’ll be sure to let you (and everyone in a three-block radius) know. Husky-savvy rescuers understand that this isn't bad behavior, but it is something that requires an experienced & responsible owner. Singapore was found as an abandoned homeless stray, having to fend for himself in NC. He is good with other dogs (likes the gentle dainty playgroups), is your typical aloof husky! A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
