This little sweetheart was found as a stray in Highland, Texas. Despite her rough start, Bitty is ready for a fresh chapter filled with love, security, and plenty of snuggles. Bitty’s absolute favorite place in the world is on a human lap—she’s a true cuddle expert who thrives on companionship. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but her gentle, goofy, and affectionate personality shines through within minutes. She’s quiet (her foster can’t recall hearing her bark!), potty trained, crate trained, and overall a low-maintenance, easy companion Bitty would prefer to be the only dog in the home. If you’re searching for a calm, loyal lap dog who just wants to be by your side, Bitty may be your perfect match. She’s ready to give all her love to her new family. Bitty is from Texas. This pet is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease and is available through our Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program. Activity must be restricted for several weeks during recovery. RSR will cover the full cost of treatment. RSR will provide heartworm preventatives until the retest is due.
