Description
Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois. Ace is a handsome 4 year old Belgian Malinois with EPI, Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. He is like any Malinois, just needs to be provided with a digestive enzyme in his food since his pancreas does not produce enough to properly digest his food. MAD Rescue considers him a medical needs dog due to his EPI and will receive a special discounted adoption fee and does require an adopted committed to his care medically. Ace his housebroken, crate trained, loves people and is fine with children 9 or older. He loves to play ball and he enjoys a good game of tug. He has basic obedience and understand commands in english and german. He is a quick learner and loves to engage with his people. He does require an experiences handler who can provide structure, proper stimlation and exercise, and obedience. This boy is a phenomenal companion. He is athletic, confident, and he is a love bug. He enjoys attention. He has been non-reactive to other dogs and has been around farm animals. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics.
